The included breakfast was very decent, with a variety of options like juice, coffee, cake, toast, and ham/cheese. The location was really good and reasonably quiet, but still had parties/events on the weekend. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and becoming our friends. a great experience!

The staff were great and the rooms had a great view. The location was perfect, only a 5-minute walk to a famous landmark and in a great part of town. It felt like home with a cozy bar and beautiful artwork.
The kitchen was small and dirty, and there weren't enough showers. The beds were not comfortable and it would have been nice to have curtains for privacy in the shared rooms.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Rio that had a great location and stunning views. The staff was friendly and gave me helpful tips for exploring the city. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The bar area with a swimming pool was the perfect spot to relax after a long day. The breakfast, although simple, was worth the cost. I would recommend this hostel.

I traveled alone for the first time and was apprehensive, but the staff at Rio Forest were amazing and always helpful. The dorm room I stayed in was clean with working air conditioning. The views from the hostel are amazing and the location is great for exploring Santa Teresa, Lapa, and the city center. The terrace is perfect for breakfast and evening drinks, and the bar is a big social area to meet people. a very enjoyable stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
